IDS Dortmund 23-25.05.2025 -> GEVDHCH and DKCH(U)

3 days in Dortmund with our two boys. Bastian was in the ring all three days, and what a rollercoaster that was.
First day went excellent, we got a 2. place with a reserve VDH CAC, but with two other reserves from previously, we converted those three to 1 VDH CAC.
Second day were just not our day. Bastian was quite tense which made me nervouse. A judge which had some inputs in regards to how I trimmed and handled Bastian together with some agreements not withhold on the ringside, Knut was the final drop that made Bastian and I loose our concentration.
We still got a 3rd place, which we of course are very happy for. We got some learnings – and how we can prepare for the next show.
Finale day – and everything just was perfect. Bastian got a 1. place and the VDH CAC – and then he also got the reserve CACIB afterwards.

BUT – the best thing – that final VDH CAC was Bastians 5th and final CAC to become German champion. And with the CAC from Roskilde he also became Danish champion that day.
